The Little Chocolate Company opens its first retail store

On February 2, 2010, owner and chocolatier Martine Coscia is opening the doors of her first retail shop, located at 99 Mill Street, Greenwich, Connecticut. The shop will be offering chocolate confections freshly made on premises as well as its line of fabulous, organic biscottini™, and freshly brewed beverages which include locally roasted coffees, teas and to-die-for hot cocoas prepared in the traditional way wholly with milk and chocolate.

Hours of operation:
Mon-Thurs: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Fri-Sat: 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.

Greenwich Hospital Great Chefs 2009 annual fundraising event

Greenwich, Connecticut – The Little Chocolate Company is proud to announce its participation in the Greenwich Hospital Great Chefs 2009 annual fundraising event which benefits Community Health at Greenwich Hospital. It is donating its signature Chocolate Critters™ that will be included in the four hundred gift bags that will be distributed at the event.


Love Is in the Air!

Love Is in the Air! Until February 14th, all of our critters will ship in red packaging. After that, we will resume using our brown and cream packaging.


Connecticut Grown

The Little Chocolate Company would like to thank its customers for their loyal support at the Connecticut farmers’ markets of  Norwalk, Stratford and the Stamford Arboretum over the past summer.

We will be present at the following Holiday Fairs:

  • The Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk Winterfair on November 13-15, UCONN Campus at Stamford, CT. 
  • The 9th District Veterans Women’s Auxiliary on November 22, Western Greenwich Civic Center, Greenwich, CT.
  • The Junior League of Greenwich Enchanted Forest on November 22-23, Greenwich Hyatt, Greenwich, CT.
  • The Moorefield Herb Farm Christmas Shop from December 5 through December 21, Trumbull, CT.

Farmers’ Markets

From June 24th through October 31st 2008, The Little Chocolate Company will be present on the following farmers’ markets:

  • Tuesdays between 12 P.M. – 6 P.M. at Veterans Memorial Park, Norwalk CT.
  • Fridays between 10 A.M. – 3 P.M. at the Beardsley Zoo, Bridgeport CT.
  • Sundays between 12 P.M. – 4 P.M. at Food or Farm, Norwalk CT.

Born and raised in Belgium, I remember how chocolate was and still is ever present on breakfast toast, as a side to a cup of coffee, in the rich hot cocoas, and in the many artisan chocolate shops that line the centuries-old streets. Chocolate is a part of daily life.
